Meet Our Team
Peter Lee
Founder, Lead Consultant
Peter began his professional career as a mechanical engineer working for a company in Asia. The job gave him an opportunity to travel to various countries and work with vendors, clients, and colleagues from many different cultures, and it was during this time that his intercultural life and career began to be shaped.
He is an American who is originally from Seoul, Korea. His family immigrated to the U. S. when he was fourteen and he went to high school and university in “the Deep South” in the United States. His first exposure to Morocco was in 1997 when he traveled around the country for a month. He and his family of five have been living in Rabat since 2004. Peter is a Certified Birkman® Consultant. He has a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s from Fuller Graduate School of Theology. He is passionate about resourcing and equipping people to reach their full potential. [Read Peter's blog here.]
Sang-Soon Jang
Partner, Senior Consultant
Having lived and worked in North Africa for two decades, Sang-Soon possesses a deep understanding and appreciation of its people and culture. His life venture in North Africa began as a language student, and then as a graduate student in electrical engineering. He had formerly served as the Northwest Africa regional coordinator for an international relief and development NGO and also has experiences in tourism and commerce. In addition to his native Korean language, Sang-Soon is also fluent in English and French, and proficient in Arabic, both the Moroccan dialect and Modern Standard Arabic.
Being a seasoned interculturalist, his penetrating insights into cross-cultural life and work are enlightening, and his sense of humor, developed over years of cross-cultural living, often delights many around him. His passion is to build bridges between culturally diverse groups of people. He enjoys gardening and photography in his spare time. He lives in Rabat with his wife and two teenager children.
Ji Hye Lee
Partner, Educational Consultant
Ji Hye overseas our educational programs. She holds a M. A. in Education degree from Seattle University. She studied Italian and English at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Korea and had taught English to adults. She spent a few years of her childhood in Turkey on her father’s foreign service assignment. Both a teacher and a learner at heart, she likes to work on her language skills, and to find ways to relate and connect with those she teaches.
Ji Hye is a mother of three young children, who are growing up in a multicultural and multilingual environment. Naturally, she is interested in cross-cultural education, formation, and development of children. She is normally very busy, but whenever she gets an opportunity, she likes to explore new places that she hasn’t been to and new recipes that she hasn’t tried before.
