Future Steps for Students
There are challenges that college and college-bound students face as they try to decide their major and career direction. With Future Steps for Students program, we help these students determine their area of study, career path, and/or a potential career fit. Your student takes the Birkman® assessment and we use the result to highlight what naturally interests them and motivates them. We lead them through a discovery process which helps them become more focused and equipped to make informed decisions on their university studies and professional careers.
Our Program Includes:
- An initial meeting with our consultant during which we discuss the student’s expectations, define their goals, and determine their potential benefits from this program.
- Birkman® assessment and resulting report that will help highlight the student’s career fields of interest and the best-fit work environment.
- Two personal sessions with the consultant to provide guidance and advice on the student’s college and/or career search process.
A Note to Students, Parents, and Guidance Counselors:
- The student’s interest in self-discovery and career direction will be essential to the success of this process.
- In case of younger students, they need to display a certain maturity level to be able to participate.
- This program is a long-term investment for the participating student’s successful transition to higher education and career. Successful completion of this program can potentially save students and their families a huge cost in the future.
- For schools, we recommend a small group program. Length and level of the program can be customized depending on goals and desires of the school or the student group.
